One place for the IT department
The IT department of a company with ten branches in Egypt and Saudi Arabia looks after user accounts in Active Directory, mailboxes in Zoho, firewall users on every branch's Sophos device, and the network and licenses behind them. Each of those used to live in its own console.
I designed and built Orbit as one web app for that work. On the infrastructure side, the IT team gets a single directory to create, disable and audit accounts across every connected system, a live support queue with SLA tracking, and an inventory of branches, racks and firewalls.
Orbit also runs the IT team itself. Each IT team member has a personal dashboard with their shift, leave balance, performance points and the approvals waiting on them, and the team's shifts, attendance, leave, payroll and KPIs are managed in the same place. These people modules cover the IT department only, not the rest of the company.
n8n workflows and AI automations handle the repetitive steps around the platform. Every page and action sits behind role-based permissions, and tasks that need a domain-joined Windows machine, such as LAPS passwords, run through small on-prem agents.
Orbit is used internally and is not publicly available.
